Hi, I'm Coach Gregory Scott — The Man With The Dinner Plan. I'm a Certified Holistic Health Coach, CPA, lifelong athlete and food lover. It might sound like an unusual combination, but over the years I've learned those experiences fit together pretty well.

My goal today is simple: help you Eat Better & Move More. That includes helping make healthy eating—and meal planning for families—simpler, more practical and easier to fit into everyday life. Not through perfection, complicated diets or exercise programs that take over your life, but through realistic changes you can actually live with.
In fact, Meal Planning Made Easy is a pretty good description of what led me to create The 10-Minute Dinner System™. Dinner is something we deal with every day, yet figuring out what to make can become one more chore at the end of an already exhausting day. I believe better health can begin by making some of those everyday decisions a little easier.
Can I Tell You Something I've Learned?
Health isn't just about counting calories. It's not simply about carbs, fats and protein, and I don't believe food needs to be divided into endless lists of “good” and “bad.” (although I might tell you what's good or bad - LOL)
I've studied many approaches to nutrition, food and lifestyle, and one thing has become very clear to me: there isn't one perfect plan that works for everybody. Our schedules are different. Our food preferences are different. Our bodies, abilities, challenges and goals are different. The same is true when it comes to fitness.
That's why my coaching philosophy isn't about asking you to change everything overnight. It's about finding realistic food, fitness and lifestyle choices that work for you and then making gradual changes you can actually live with.
Start somewhere. Make it simple. Keep moving forward.
From Counting Beans to Cooking Them :)
Before becoming a health coach, I spent about 25 years in Corporate America working in accounting and finance. I'm a CPA, so I've spent a good portion of my life analyzing problems, looking at processes and trying to figure out how to make things work better.
These days, instead of counting beans...I cook them. :)
But that analytical part of my brain never went away. When I see a problem, I naturally ask: Why is this so difficult? Does it really need to be? Is there a simpler way?
That mindset has become an important part of the way I coach—and eventually it helped me look differently at a question I've been hearing my entire life.
“What's For Dinner?”
As a kid, I was the one asking it. Later, after having a family of my own, I realized just how universal the question was. Families everywhere were asking “What's for dinner?” day after day. I didn't think much about it. It was simply part of everyday life.
Then I became a health coach.
I kept hearing people say they wanted to eat better, and something eventually clicked. Before we can talk about eating better, somebody still has to figure out what we're going to eat.
That simple realization brought my lifetime experience with the “What's For Dinner?” question together with my analytical CPA brain and my health-coaching experience. I started looking at dinner as a problem that might benefit from a simpler, more organized approach.
That eventually became The 10-Minute Dinner System™—a practical system designed to take some of the daily stress and struggle out of answering “What's For Dinner?”

More Than Dinner
The Dinner System is where we're starting, but it's not where my story—or my coaching—ends.

I've been fortunate to live a healthy and active life. I'm a lifelong runner with quite a few marathons behind me. I was fast in my glory days. Now it's all about the enjoyment. My passion for endurance sports eventually expanded into triathlons, including completing Ironman-distance events.
Those experiences, along with my formal health-coaching education through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition helped shape how I think about food, fitness, lifestyle and aging.
But experience has also taught me that health isn't about how fast you can run a marathon—or whether you want to run one at all. It's about finding ways to live a healthier, more active and hopefully happier life at whatever stage of life you're in.

The Fit 4 Life Club
That desire to help others eventually became part of something bigger: The Fit 4 Life Club, Inc., a nonprofit organization centered around a very simple philosophy:
Eat Better & Move More!
Notice it doesn't say Eat Perfectly & Exercise Constantly.
Notice it doesn't say Eat Perfectly & Exercise Constantly.
Eating better might mean cooking at home one more night this week, trying another vegetable, drinking more water or simply making a better choice when you can.
Moving more might mean taking a walk, getting out of your chair more often, playing with your kids or grandkids, returning to something you used to enjoy, or simply finding ways to put a little more movement back into your day.
Better health doesn't have to start with a complete life makeover. Sometimes it starts with the next small step.
That's the philosophy connecting Coach Gregory Scott, The Man With The Dinner Plan, The Fit 4 Life Club and the Guides and resources we're creating.
We'll talk about food, cooking and recipes. We'll talk about nutrition and healthy eating. We'll talk about fitness, movement, lifestyle and better health as we age. And yes, we'll probably talk quite a bit about “What's For Dinner?”
Because sometimes a bigger journey can begin by solving one very ordinary problem.
My goal is to provide the guidance, support & solutions that help you take that next step.
